Mudslide kills 19 in Colombia
New Delhi, April 22: In Colombia, at least 19 people were killed and 14 missing after a mudslide buried eight houses. Authorities said a search is underway for any others who might be trapped under rubble yesterday.
The national risk management agency said that the injured were being treated at hospitals near the scene of the disaster in Rosas, in the department of Cauca. Mudslides are common during Colombia’s rainy season.
