Priyanka quits party, joins Shiv Sena
New Delhi, April 19: Congress national spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi has resigned from all the posts in the party protesting against the reinstatement of some party workers in Uttar Pradesh who had threatened and misbehaved with her.
She sent in her resignation to Congress President Rahul Gandhi. In her letter, she said, despite the safety, dignity and empowerment of women being promoted by the party, is not reflected in the action of some of the members. She joined Shiv Sena in Mumbai today.
