Odia Novel Prabasi released
The Seventh Creation of Former D.G. Police, Eminent Administrator and Writer Sarat Chandra Mishra on the Real Life Story of Sorrow, Sufferings and Happiness of the Odia Families Stayed Outside of the Country after the division in 1947
Bhubaneswar 25/03: Taking the sorrow and sufferings and happiness of the odia families stayed outside of the country during the division in 1947, the novel “PRABASI” written by Former D.G of Police, Eminent Administrator & Writer Sarat Chandra Mishra is released.
In a glittering ceremony arranged for the purpose presided by Niranjan Rath, President, Loka Sevak Mandal, Odisha Branch at the Conference Hall of D.A.V. School of Business Management, Unit-8, Bhubaneswar, the book was released in the presence of the founder and president of Sarala Sahitya Sansad Er. Pravakar Swain, Eminent Speaker Deba Prasad Das and the proprietor of the publisher of the book, Lalit Mohan Pattnayak of Sudhanya Prakashani attended as the Guests of the honour.
This book is the seventh creation of Shri Mishra reflected the life history of the some odia families stayed outside of the country during his visit to Silet district of Bangladesh while posted as the Counsellor of Indian High Commissioner at Dhaka.
During the occasion, eminent literati Santanu Kumar Acharya and Dr. Naba Kishore Mishra were felicitated. Among others the Regional Director of DAV Institutions, Dr. K. C. Satapathy, Asst. Regional Officer, Dr. (Ms.) Sujata, Eminent Administrator Madan Mohan Panda, Amarendra Mishra, Nihar Ranjan Hota, Arun Kumar Rath, Devi Prasanna Pattanayak, Eminent literati Smt. Manasi Das, the wife of the writer and spiritual guru Smt. Prativa Mishra, Heads of the different DAV institutions of Odisha, eminent writers were present on the occasion.
To note, Shri Mishra has published many novels, life history, book review and stories among which the Dream, Kalahandi and the Rain God, Sonar Bangla etc. were very renowned. Written in the common language of the people will be appreciated, said the learned peoples present on the occasion.
