Odisha receives “Most Improved Big State for Cleanliness” Award

Bhubaneswar, Nov 22: Odisha has been awarded with “Most improved Big State for Cleanliness” by India Today Group.

On behalf of Chief Minister Odisha, Minister Panchayatiraj, Drinking Water, Law, Housing & Urban Development Pratap Jena has received the award from Union Minister for Envarnoment, Forest & Climate changes and Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javedkar, in India Today State of the States Conclave 2019 held at Kamal Mahal, ITC Maurya, New Delhi today.

Speaking on the occasion Minister Mr. Jena told that under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Odisha is on the fast pace of inclusive growth and development setting national and global benchmarks for others to emulate. We are humbled by this recognisation, which adds another feather to our cap. We will be further encouraged to strive hard to create a clean, green and beautiful new Odisha.
