PM pays tributes to Rani Lakshmibai

Lakshmibai, the Rani of Jhansi (19 November 1828 – 18 June 1858), was an Indian queen of the Maratha princely state of Jhansi in North India currently present in Jhansi district in Uttar Pradesh, India.

New Delhi, Nov 19: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has paid tributes to Rani Lakshmibai on her Jayanti.

In a tweet, the Prime Minister said, “आजादी की पहली लड़ाई में अद्भुत पराक्रम का परिचय देने वाली वीरांगना रानी लक्ष्मीबाई को उनकी जयंती पर कोटि-कोटि नमन। उनकी शौर्यगाथा देशवासियों के लिए हमेशा प्रेरणास्रोत बनी रहेगी।”
